With OctaPaint, users can craft impressive 8-bit pixel art pieces on their iPhone or iPad using their finger or the Apple Pencil. Sharing creations to various platforms such as the photo library, Instagram, Facebook, or other preferred applications is conveniently achieved with just a tap.

Enabling users to utilize background images as drawing guides enhances 8-bit drawing proficiency and facilitates the creation of 8-bit renditions of existing images or photos. Additionally, the option to employ 32x32 images proves valuable for developing custom app icons for developers or Shortcuts users.

The application also caters to the creation of NFT art, expanding its utility and appeal to digital artists. Notable features include a diverse range of 8-bit resolutions from 8x8 to 64x64, unlimited colors, an 'Eye dropper' color picker for precise color selection, and the ability to pick colors from any photo. Users can augment their creative process by adding reference images as guides, adjusting transparency levels, toggling drawing grids, and seamlessly sharing or exporting their artwork.
